In the 2024 Primary Election, Wyoming had a 27% turnout. The Freedom Caucus took control of the state house with 9% of the vote.
Roughly 80% of Wyoming elections are determined in the August Primary. For many elected positions, the winner of the Republican primary goes on to win the General Election in November.
