Newt is a free-spirited, small town Sheridan hippie. She grew up working hard surrounded by a family who loved her, despite some major lifestyle differences. Like many of us, Newt thought she had met “the one” by 17.

Nell was a scrawny kid and track runner. It was normal for her to not see her period for months. With her Catholic upbringing and a school curriculum based in abstinence, she didn’t see any warning signs. “I was so skinny. I just thought I was bloated.”

Jess Bradford reached out to Pro-Choice Wyoming to testify against HB00042 & HB00064. After further reflection, she realized telling her story would put her future job prospects with the State Government at risk:

“My story…it’s not really that complex,” Laurie says, as she proceeds to tell an absurd story about trying to obtain an abortion in Wyoming.
